Kristin and Kevin’s beautifully designed wedding was overflowing with love from their family and friends. It was a lovely balance of a modern and fresh wedding with traditional asian inspired elements to create unique experiences for guests. Between their exceptional hit boba station, live watercolor portraits for guests, or the tear jerking Hawaiian Hula dance that Kevin’s mother specially performed to bless the newly weds, there were so many enjoyable moments to remember and not a dry eye in the house.

Many will know Judge Faith Jenkins by her work on television and Kenny Lattimore for his prolific work in music, but we are so grateful to know them and love them as friends. They are kind, smart, passionate about their art and work, thoughtful and have the absolute best sense of humor. Their wedding was nothing short of glam but with a touch of southern flair to pay homage to Faith’s Southern upbringing. Between the surprise pop up choir during their ceremony, Stevie Wonder himself playing “You and I” during her processional, to their brass band orchestrating their grand entrance, these were just some of the ways guests will remember this night for always. Congratulations to you, Faith and Kenny!

Ali and Kelechi had one of the most classy and vibrant weddings we had ever had the privilege of working on. We quite literally cathedral hopped from their wedding ceremony to their timeless reception at the Vibiana in Downtown Los Angeles. These two were celestial beings destined to find each other and under one roof were able to celebrate the start of their lives and sharing their tradition from the Nigerian culture. Some of our favorite weddings have been backyard weddings and this one took the cake. Brittany and Evan's wedding in Palos Verdes was such a blast, and it's all thanks to the amazing family, friends, super organized bride and vendors that all came together to make some magic happen.
From her father making the altar, to friends who built their LOVE marquee sign, a friend who made their centerpieces and her friend from Caitligraphy who made all of their signage, it was absolute perfection with a wedding made just for them. This year we celebrated Caroline and Phil's wedding in their hometown of Torrance. It was the perfect blend of the traditional Korean culture with a fun modern twist that included some of their personal favorite elements like Scoops Westside, Polly's Pies and these duet treats that our team just can't forget. Today's Campfire Story is about Shikha and Jameel who were two halves that now make up one amazing whole. One union that will no doubt last a lifetime. The wedding at The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Sp in Palm Springs was the perfect setting for what would be a memorable weekend filled with color, dancing, fun and above all, love for days!!
Their two day wedding consisted of multiple celebrations, each with a unique look and feel. A Coachella inspired Sangeet, a romantic and lush Hindu Ceremony and a Jewel toned Reception with florals that reached sky high. It was such a blessing to work closely with this couple bringing pieces of their vision together. What a rewarding experience it was to see the smiles on their families faces and the oOoos and aweees of the crowd as they entered into each new environment giving their guests an experience they will never forget.

Two very special people have defied the odds of long distance and made their way down to Serra Plaza in San Juan Capistrano to share their love for each other with their closest friends and family. Tammy and Trung fell in love many years ago in Canada, and even after Tammy moved down to the states, they found their way back to one another when they realized they couldn't live without the other.
The borders of the world couldn't keep these two a part from one another. For those who have been before, The Alexandria Ballroom in DTLA has hosted some of the most prestigious and iconic individuals that have graced our history, and earlier this fall, Darin and Sarah were the latest fabulous addition to these history books as they took their vows before their loved ones and danced the night away with their closest friends and family.
For those that haven’t met Darin and Sarah, they are kind, crazy fun to dance with and can make anyone feel welcome which I experienced first-hand when they invited me to their rehearsal dinner to join their family. I felt so honored and touched to dine with these foodies and the people closest to them before their wedding day!

What a wonderful feeling it is when you realize you just witnessed two of your best of friends getting married to the love of their life.
Jenny and Kevin have been together for over a decade. We met them back in college, helped plan the engagement for almost a year, cried during the proposal (of course) at Disneyworld, made our way back to LA to start wedding planning, and we definitely cried after they said, "I do." In the Spring of 2016, we found ourselves meeting a lovely couple with warm smiles that told us they wanted to have their wedding in their parents’ backyard. Something meaningful, fun and close to home was what we set our sights for as we worked with them to plan their wedding day. Before working with couples, we always ask what is important for you on your big day, and one key element discussed was sustainability. Mason jars for guests, incorporating eco friendly meals and flatware, an organic ice cream cart, fruit focused centerpieces (instead of table numbers), and bouquets that mixed in vegetables. So much care and thought was put into their choices which is a grand reflection of the wonderful people they are, and how they take the time to think of others and the world we all share.
Between their beautiful vows, the laughter, an awesome first dance and a giant flash mob we certainly experienced a night we won’t forget. RJ & Jesse, thank you for inviting us to help with your wedding day. We were so honored to be a part of it and hope that you'll have all the time in the world to accomplish all that you aspire to do together as husband and wife. <3

It's always such an honor to be able to plan weddings for a beautiful couple who really took so much time to think about their guests, and how to make it a memorable experience for everyone. These two fun and adventurous foodies decided to have their wedding at the one and only Hinoki and the Bird in LA. A delicious venue that had a gorgeous mid century modern feel that provided a unique and intimate space for Kris, Adrian, and their loved ones to celebrate their marriage. This dynamic engagement shoot was so much fun to take in Downtown LA. These photos were shot in the historic Pacific Electric Lofts building and was so fitting for this stunning couple.
